Newspaper Articles (6th grade)

The first topic that I had to cover with my sixth grade students was on newspapers and articles. I found a PPT on newspapers and used it to introduce the topic. Later on, the students got to identify the parts of a newspaper article on the board. I taped an article on the board and created sentence strips for the students to identify its parts correctly. This motivated the students.
